Happy Sunday, Scribblers!
Welcome to December! Wot?!? It’s an utter cliché to say so, but where has this year gone?!?
Regardless of the elasticity of time, here we are.
Let’s jump in!
Even if you don’t normally identify as a writer, I invite you to have a noodle in a notebook or on a scrap of paper…just to see what might happen.
Write by hand, if you’re able.
Give yourself a time limit.
No edits.
No second thoughts.
Let your pen take a walk across the page.
Ready?
Let’s begin.
An image prompt for you today, via Pinterest.

Possibilities:
an exercise in description (can you translate the weather into words?)
who is the figure? where are they going and why?
what could be the larger story? could the houses/trees be permanently in that position? If so, why?
Have fun and don’t think too hard. If nothing comes up, be patient, trust your process.
As always, feel free to share your work…or not — it still exists without anyone else having seen it! 😉
See you next Sunday!
