Intuitive process all the way! Loved reading about your’s. 💙 And those original notebooks!! So much artsy love there. My history of art journals (comp notebooks also, woot!) are the same. The covers used to be so elaborate and detailed. Now they’re quite simple. But I’m making a lot more 3-D art these days so that’s where the creative energy goes instead. Have ordered my book (sound and feel of pages turning!)and now must wait patiently till next week. Tapping fingers. So excited for you and your continued journey in writing. Really truly wonderful!! Way to go to stick to it through all the murky waters of doubt and angst. Huzzah!! 🥳

Thoroughly enjoy this processing, nodding along with the pantser/plotster blend, and your composition notebooks took me right back to my British school days! (Why I still use a fountain pen to this day, bc when have a pens license you might as well exercise that right, right. 🤓)

Ahhhh chaos magic, my favorite kind. 🌻

Ah, fountain pens....I do so love my fountain pens...and the endless choices of ink that go along with them. One must always, ALWAYS exercise ones pen license :). And yes, it's much the best kind of magic. xo

I love seeing your process and especially your notebooks, which fascinate me. I love the composition books for collaging covers, though I've not done it for a long while. I should whip out the old ones and put them to use there! I'm so intrigued by process so I'm grateful you're sharing yours.

I used to have such fun decorating the covers...I think I saw an author I admired do it once and it seemed the perfect marriage of art and writing. Alas, I'm too lazy these days. Thanks so much for the feedback, Jeanie...I always worry I'm boring people to death with these posts. xo

Intuitive Writer! Love this. Your process is much like my own, I have more recently started plotting/outlining more than I used to as I’ve found it more efficient for speed with my writing but it’s still more structural than in depth. I, too, am still very analog, there’s nothing more inspiring to me than a new notebook and pen. The feel and the sound can’t be replaced. And now I’m inspired to write about my process in more detail! Thank you.
